Essential listening for modern jazz trumpet players

First of all, there are a number of players not listed here who certainly should be. Secondly, much of this list was stolen from one of Pat Harbison’s books. I have done my homework, and have edited the list slightly as I worked through the listening to reflect my own views. This list is a living thing, and will be modified periodically. Thanks for reading - now get listening!
