Awesome news for the Cincinnati, OH film and jazz scenes - a film, starring, produced and directed by Don Cheadle called “Miles Ahead” will shot in the Queen City. I am hopeful that the involvement of local jazz musicians will shine a positive light on our city’s thriving, but largely unknown music scene.
I am auditioning for a part in the film, as are many of my colleagues. If I am able to be a part of this film, even in the smallest way, it will be a fascinating adventure. No matter what, though, the fact that Miles Davis’ life and legacy will be honored in my home city is enough for me - I’m totally thrilled!
